Pump Aid helps break the cycle of poverty in Africa by providing clean drinking water, water for irrigation and hygienic toilets. The charity has installed 7500 water pumps and 2500 toilets over the past decade to serve over one million of the poorest people, in Zimbabwe, Malawi and Liberia.

Quite simply, few organisations can rival Pump Aid’s experience and competence in the field. The charity is nothing less than a lifeline to its current beneficiaries and wants to do more.

The Meanwhile team is excited to have been engaged by Pump Aid to bring the stories of their incredible work to a wider audience.

We’ll also be working closely with Thirsty Planet, a charity-supporting spring water company which donates income to Pump Aid. Thirsty Planets’ contributions mean that up to 5000 litres of clean water in Africa can be pumped for every litre of bottled water sold.

Let’s all drink to that.
