After a bumper summer season, when many crowd management and security teams are jetting off on holiday, the Vespasian Security team are going that extra mile once again. They are going four thousand extra miles to be more precise.

Since 2009, Vespasian Security has supplied a team of experienced security managers to the Lake of Stars Festival in Southern Africa. Working with the production team drawn from as far afield as England, Finland, Scotland, Australia, Austria, Malawi, South Africa, Zambia to name but a few, the Vespasian team manage local security teams during the event.

2014 sees Vespasian supply not only three experienced security managers but the team is be joined by Vespasian’s Managing Director, Oliver Gardiner. Speaking from Heathrow as the team were gathering for their flight Oliver said,

“I am really excited about Lake of Stars this year. We have grown in tandem with Lake of Stars over the years and it will be great to see how we can again help develop the skills of the local security teams.”

Oliver went onto say,

“To many of us at Vespasian, Lake of Stars is an extra special moment in our calendar. We take great pride that we have always worked at Lake of Stars as volunteers. We are passionate about training and the practice of taking our crowd management experience to developing countries is a logical and exciting extension to that idea. “

The Vespasian team will be in Malawi until Oct 1st .
