Findings of the ongoing Airborne Geo-mapping survey are expected early next year, as the data collected has been sent abroad for interpretation.

South African based company Sounders Geophysics is carrying out airborne mapping exploration for mineral deposits across the country.

The survey, best known as Kawuni-wuni, is aimed at helping the government identify what minerals the country has that could help attract foreign investors.

According to the Deputy Director of geological survey in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Mining Jelophi Salima, they want to have a clear understanding of the data collected so far.
