The body of Deputy Chief Secretary to the Government Willie Samute is expected to arrive in the country today through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in the capital Lilongwe.
Samute, a long serving Civil Servant died on Wednesday midnight in the Republic of South Africa after a long illness.
According to the statement released by the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) signed Chief Secretary to the President George Mkondiwa, from Kamuzu International Airport the body of Samute will be taken to his residence in Area 10 (House Number 10/451).
On Saturday a sending off service will be held at his resident before the body is taken to Songani in Zomba District, his home village for burial on Sunday.
Meanwhile President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and his Vice Saulos Chilima have expressed shock over the untimely death of samute.
