Information sourced by FaceofMalawi indicates that investigations to the murder of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director of Corporate Services Issa Njauju is moving at a snail’s pace as Police are yet to trace the killers.

Njauju was brutally murdered by unknown thugs a months ago and his body was discovered buried close to presidential villas along presidential drive in the capital Lilongwe.

His official vehicle a Toyota Hilux D4D double cabin was burnt down to ashes at Mtsiriza near Area 49 in Lilongwe.

His death was linked to the ongoing investigation to the MK577 billion looting of public funds which happened during the first reign of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

Speaking in an interview with one of the privately owned radio on Monday on the progress made Police officials admitted that currently they have no clue of the people involved in the killing of Njauju.

The Police officials then appealed to the general public to assist the Police in feeding them with the information on the suspected killers.

Njauju’s death saw the donors asking the government to tighten security in the country as well as for those people working at ACB.

Meanwhile Malawians are keenly waiting to know what happened to Njauju.
