It is the racy hit that became a surprise chart-topper around the world. And now faded RnB star Siqso has filed a mammoth $3.6 million lawsuit in which he claims he was not paid the royalties he was due for his 1999 kitsch classic Thong Song.

The 36-year-old is claiming the company he hired to collect his cash ended up failing to hand over around $600,000 it received on his behalf.

According to TMZ, he charged 27 Red Music with collecting royalties from a number of music publishing companies on his behalf for all of his work released between 1996 and 2005.

Sisqo is claiming that while the company succeeded in collecting his cash, it failed to hand over more than half a million.

In addition to giving him the money he claims he is owed, he is also demanding an additional $3 million in punitive damages.

If he wins his case it will be a welcome financial boost to the Baltimore native, who has a  estimated net worth of  $4 million.

Sisqo’s showbusiness career has been a little on the quiet side since his pomp prancing around the beach singing about ladies’ underwear.

This year he released Last Dragon, his first album since 2001’s disappointing Return Of The Dragon, which was his followup to his smash hit multiplatinum platter Unleash The Dragon.

He briefly broke ranks to make an appearance as a housemate on the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother 2010, where he was the fifth contestant to be evicted.
