Salima Secondary school in Central Region has been closed indefinitely following the invasion blood-sucking insects, Bedbugs.

Bedbugs are small, oval, brownish insects that live on the blood of animals or humans.

Salima Secondary School Head teacher Robson Mpinganjira has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying all the students have been sent home.

According to information at hand, the boys’ hostel was the worst hit, forcing the students to be sleeping outside, while others failing to report for classes.

Meanwhile it is not known as to when the school will be reopened.
