A van carrying Potatoes on Monday afternoon overturned at Shoprite roundabout in the commercial capital Blantyre hitting a Range Rover in the process.
The van which was heading to Blantyre overturned after the driver lost control.
Blantyre Police Spokesperson Elizabeth Divala confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying investigations are underway to establish the cause.
But an eyewitness told this publication that the van was overloaded and the driver was overspending, in the process he lost control of the vehicle.
The accident had no casualties.
