Police in Salima have arrested four people from Nkwidzi village in the district in connection to the murder of the head of Chipoka Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Rhoda Ng’oma.
National Police Spokesperson Nicholas Gondwa confirmed of the development in an interview with Daily Times but could not disclose the names of the suspects.
Ng’oma was brutally killed in cold blood on August 16, 2016 in a frenzied armed robbery attack at her home in Chipoka in the Lake District of Salima.
The gangs chopped off her head using panga knife and went away with assorted items.
