Mzuzu mayoral polls updates: DPP MP Leonard Njikho harassed by Party cadets

There were ugly scenes in Mzuzu as DPP cadets bayed for the blood of their city member of Parliament (MP) Leonard Njikho. They accuse him of failing the party.
Njikho was whisked away by police from the Grand Palace Hotel,venue for the just ended mayoral elections, where a handful DPP cadets were causing trouble.
Before escaping, Njikho told the press that all was not well and his life was in danger.
He has since opted to remain with police until the situation calms down.
