The strategic goal for Kupeza Chambo is to help in the promotion of Malawi by consulting and developing relevant content. One of the ways in which that is achieved is through hosting of live performance shows, live talks, and guest lectures where Malawi’s heritage is celebrated.

It gives us pleasure to announce our first talk for this year. Shemu Joyah, award winning Malawian filmmaker will engage with a an audience of filmmakers, art students, and the general public on how best we can built a thriving film industry in Malawi. The lecture will take place in Blantyre, Malawi’s commercial city.

Shemu Joyah, who has just wrapped shooting his second film titled ‘The Last Fishing Boat’, is the producer/director of the multi-award winning ‘Seasons of a life’. For more on him, visit http://www.firstdawnarts.com. Or follow him on Twitter. @FirstDawnArts.

The talk will later be posted online where viewers will be able to engage with Mr Joyah and Kupeza Chambo. Watch this space for more details.
