The immigration department in Zambia has apprehended and sent back 55 foreign suspected sex workers to their respective countries following a raid on some guest houses in Lusaka.
Among the 55 foreign sex workers, 51 were female Zimbabweans, Two female Malawians, one female Tswana and one male South African.
Police in Zambia raided some of guest houses in Lusaka that led to this development.
The guest houses raided were, Katete guest house, Friends inn, Chawama and Garden townships.
Immigration Department public relations officer Namati Nshinka said that over held of the arrested had no documents, while the rest had overstayed in the country.
The 51 Zimbabweans were on Sunday, March 26th, 2017 removed from the country.
He added that arrangements to remove the two Malawians, the Tswana and the South Africa are underway.
