Carlsberg employees arrested for stealing over 900 crates of beer worth K14 million

Four People including Carlsberg Malawi Limited employees are in police custody in Blantyre for allegedly conniving with thieves to steal over 900 crates of Carlsberg chill beer worth over K14 million.
Bangwe Police Officer In-Charge Senior Assistant Commissioner, Dinna Lemani confirmed of the arrest in an interview with state controlled Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC 1).
Lemani said some of the stolen crates have been recovered.
When asked to disclose the names of the arrested employees, Lemani denied saying revealing the identity of the suspects will jeopardize police investigations on the matter
