Man slapped with 18 years jail sentence for cutting his wife’s private part for rituals

The Lilongwe Magistrate Court convicted and sentenced 40 year-old Rodrick Medson to 18 years Imprisonment with Hard Labour for cutting off his wife’s private part tissue.
The Court heard that the convict wanted to mix the wife’s private part tissue with some concoction to multiply his farm produce as per instructions from a witchdoctor whom he had approached.
Medson, who hails from Msonthi village, Traditional Authority Kabudula in Lilongwe, contravened Section 224 of the Penal Code, according to Prosecutor Sergeant Caphas Mwangonde of Lilongwe Police.
