Police have arrested two Italian brothers for attempting to rob several ATM`s in northern Italy while wearing masks of US president, Donald Trump.

The two brothers have been identified by Italian police as Vittorio Lafore, 26 and Ivan Lafore 30 who were filmed in CCTV footage using the Donald Trump rubber masks and other tools in violently trying to open the ATM machines.

One of the brothers is seen covering the surveillance camera in the bank lobby before he plants an explosive in the cash dispenser and ducks around the corner to light the fuse.

The whole footage has been described to have appeared as a mimic to the 1991 film ‘Point Break’ starring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze, where a gang of surfers wear similar masks while robbing banks, police said the brothers had different inspiration.

“Inspired by the 1997 film ‘The Jackal’, whose protagonist, played by Bruce Willis, changes the colour of his car because police are in pursuit, the two brothers painted their (white) Mercedes black,” a statement said.

Police arrested the brothers yesterday during a press conference in the northern Italian city.
