Man arrested for defiling 10 year old girl in Mwanza

Police in Mwanza have arrested 34 year-old man for allegedly defiling a 10 year-old girl.
According to spokesperson for Mwanza Police, Edwin Kaunda, the suspect, identified as Times Domingo, defiled the girl at Tipatuleni village in the district.
Kaunda said the suspect gave the girl 50 Kwacha to conceal the act.
However, the girl revealed after her mother became suspicious seeing her daughter failing to walk properly.
The girl’s mother went on to report the matter to Thambani Police Unit and medical examination results proved she had been defiled.
