Gospel musician Duncan Zgambo, popularly known as Gwamba heartfelt over  the floods and mudslide disaster and has asked his followers on Facebook page to join in prayers.

A mudslide Sierra Leone’s capital Freetown,which  buried houses in mud and almost claimed life of 400 people on August 14, 2017.

The residents have lost everything, one of the victim identified as Alfred Johnny by BBC, lost three friends, all of whom were trapped inside the house when the hillside collapsed.

“I froze and watched as the whole hill came down. Heavy stones were slapping the sides of the houses and they were falling. Everywhere people were screaming. I watched until every last house had collapsed,”  Johnny said.

The situation in the Sierra is indeed worse, which Gwamba feels the brothers and sisters stuck deep in mud, lost lives and some lost their properties need the prayers from every corner of earth.

“It is with a heavy heart that I ask for your prayers for everyone suffering in Sierra Leone because of the floods and mudslide disaster.

Thousands have lost their lives and property. May the Lord put a hand on their grieving families, friends and the whole nation.

Please pray for all victims, their relatives and those assisting in whatever way is possible,” reads his post.
